Been putting my car in N coasting to stops for some time now. Mostly in my Escort but even been trying it in my wifes car the Alero. She gives me that 'what are you doing?' look. Way I figure it, an Escort tranny is cheap. Like @$250-$350 used from the recyclers. If it breaks, I'll do the repairs myself. Or perhaps become motivated enough to install a 5 speed! Tried EOC a few times instead of just N coast engine on but forgot to put in in neutral once. Won't do that again! Isn't the biggest concern a spike in pressure going from Drive into Neutral?
