Very interesting.

But the Times article is pretty thin on details.

Do you know if they were contesting specific vehicles that are classed as light trucks just to avoid the more stringent automobile CAFE standards? EG. the PT Cruiser.

Or are they challenging the fact that light trucks have lower FE standards at all?
