Don't forget that splash guards that are part of a boat tailed fairing for the back of the tires can reduce drag. I have been meaning to build fairings from my splash guards but I took them off completely when I changed back to summer tires yesterday as a test. I have to see if the help my Golf as much as they helped NachRitter's Jetta. They WILL go back on with the winter tires before next frozen muckcicle season.
