jack the front end up again. Leave the tires on, and wiggle the tires back and forth. put your hands at 12 and 6 o'clock position, and give it a shake, that's what mechanics do to check for play. if it moves more then a hair, there is play. Then move your hands to 3 and 9 o'clock, if there some play, then it's usually tie rods.
If you don't see or feel where it is rubbing inside the wheel well, then chances are for wheel bearings.
