Thing has lasted forever (knock on wood) and eliminates any extra onboard programming hardware. In fact I made one of them from a plain bbb board and some carefully bent header pins soldered to the underside. Any *duino pcb with an isp header spot could probably be made to work.

bobski, that teensy would be about perfect for logging every sensor on your car and dumping it on a laptop/tablet (if obd was insuffereble). If you wanted to add injector duty cycle and rpm to the bitstream then nobody would blame you
