I just checked tire rack and WOW! The insight tire weighs only 13 lbs and it a 14" tire. The 165/65/13" re92 weighs 19 lbs.
Also i was looking at some of the other LRR tires like the kumho kr22, and the 175/70/13 weighs 16 lbs, but if somebody were to just throw some 195/70/14s on their car, they weigh 21 lbs. That's 8 lbs more than the 14" insight tire.
It just was very interesting for me to see how some people can go to such lengths to save weight on wheels, but then could easily screw up their tire weight by picking the wrong size/brand tire. I gotta check how much insight 14" wheels weigh, because my civic vx wheels are super light but only 13".
