Even if the execution is a bit, well err ... crude.
A 100mpg would definietely be possible, but not on my usual routes. I have no problem getting over 100mpg on flat roads in lean burn at speeds below 45mph, but I 'd have to drive on a flat rural route like the one in Oklahoma that Cleanmpg used to get their Honda Insight single tank distance record to do it.
