That $4600 was taken from the fuel savings listed from the fuel logs for my cars in the ecomodder garage. My unmodded base mpg was 44mpg in the winter and 48mpg in the summer with my best tank at 52mpg. I initially used hypermiling techniques to get it up to 54mpg in the winter and 62mpg in the summer but only if I kept speeds under 55mph and tried to spend most of my time at 40 to 50mph. Aeromodding set me free of these speed limitations and extended the range of speeds at which I could still get good FE so now I can get over 60mpg on 80mph trips on the interstate and over 80mpg on 65mph interstate trips.
