Dumb question
May I ask a probably dumb question:
If I use the open revolt controller as a voltage controller for a charger then the PWM duty cycle would control the voltage that is put out, right?
At 50% duty cycle an 100V input would result in an output voltage of 50V.. in theory...
If I have a Lithium pack with a BMS, for the balancing phase of the BMS the amps must be maximized at 3A.. how can that be accomplished?
My theory is that when I have one cell that is 3.2V nominal and 4.0V max if I charge it with 4.2 volts the amps would be 10A or so.. and the only way to control the amps is to lower the voltage.. say at 3.9V charging voltage the amps would be 2A..
Is that how it works?
