The answers have been avoided by giving me a date to bring the car in for more extensive testing - they'd like to have it for a week while I get a loaner.
So I'll let them get away with that for the time being, and siphon out the excess oil.
Still got nearly 52 mpg despite running more around town than usual, and LOD being higher than usual as well (the excess oil ?)
Getting home from the fuel station by the low speed route and using long coasting, I managed 3.4L/100km (69mpg) on both the OBC and the ScanGauge AVG !
Maybe it's time to start avoiding the motorway ?
