So I crack open a window and park myself at the computer. I notice (had to; no choice
) that it sounds like a Dukes Of Hazzard episode outside. So I step out to see what all the commotion is and it looks like a Benny Hill skit out there- you know the ones where someone is getting chased at double speed? Ahhh... I bet I know what happened. As I navigated the traffic obstacle course on my bicycle to the grocery store I saw that gas had dropped to $3.84. Nuts! My hunch was right- gas went down. And we were so close to $4 I could almost taste it!
The reset button for the national psyche has been pushed. Evidently, now, this price drop means gas is "cheap" and everybody is out to burn it off like it's going out of style... and perhaps it is.
