I'm pretty sure a Tracker is RWD so it would be a lot easier to make the front electric. Just loose the transfer case and get a driveshaft for a 2WD Tracker. I think there are some small SUV's though that are FWD primarily if you wnted to make the thing do burnouts with the electric motor.
