I'd be surprise if it lasted any less. Back in 1990 when i bought my first Geo new i towed two jet skis i raced all around the west coast and never even burnt up a clutch and i just sold that car two years ago. This car has been built with this in mine I did install the 4 cylinder fly wheel and clutch kit which must have at least twice the surface area. I use to have a tow rope in my back seat and i would make the next guy wanting to use the boat ramp give me a pull out if he wanted to launch or retrieve his boat on steep ramps. Its not really working all that hard gong down the free way. i must have a 1000 miles towing with it or more now. the big hurtle was the suspension moving all over the place when turning tigh corners or coming off a freeway and going to the left at agood speed the car behind would push the ass end a bit and at first it would make your star fish pucker a bit but i got use to that. then i fixed by adding in two sets of rubber springs lifts on each wheel and my new tires are rated at 100 mph with no air they are amazing. they look like thy came off a fork lift with solid tires. they grip in rain or shine so well the slide is gone and now the car doesn't roll or twist on teh springs. to be able to travel 300 400 miles at 50 plus mpg and then get half or better towing home its just money in my pocket. as far as trans axle there cheap i can buy one on the money i save on almost every trip i make.
