After a morning of replacing a roof tile, painting all of the garage and gardening I have finally earned some mod time so here goes.
Firstly I seperated the radiator area from the intake. This is Mk1 in foam board, I'll do a more weather proof one later.
I also made a small hole in the block just in front of the intake.
This is smaller than the intake, but I have only the standard 130 PD intake which is on the left of this picture
You can see that the flexi pipe behind is much narrower than the open end of the intake, which is sized to match the hole in the slam panel in my first two pictures.
I'll also have to check if these mods are service friendly, Helga is due a summer service quite soon if not overdue...
I'm tempted to do something about the lower grill now...
