Thanks - I did and have used it, and it is good. As I tapped though my non-work home PC is a netbook which locks under W7 - not sure why. Its an Asus 1201N which is nice but it just freezes sometimes for no reason even when its just left alone, and other times it can work for hours or even days. When it does lock there is no error in the event log or blue screen with some kind of error.
It hasn't locked under Linux yet so I'm experimenting with PiTiVi which seems to be reasonably OK - very similar to WMM.
