Saw this happen once to a Ford pickup. I actually jumped out and hosed it down with my fire extinguisher. The truck was just parked there with no keys in it or anything. The old man who owned the truck said he just happened to be looking outside when he noticed the smoke rolling out from under the hood. He said it had a wire that had shorted out on part of the engine bay and it got too hot and caught some plastic on fire which made things worse and worse until the whole front of the truck was donezo...
