AFAIK the miles are the same between Imperial and US.
1 miles = 1,609.344 metres
It is the Gallon that is different.
1 litre = 0.264172052 US gallons
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres
1 litre = 0.219969157 Imperial gallons
1 Imperial gallon = 4.54609188 litres
The site uses US gallons in MPG.
If you google "l/100km to us mpg" there are quite a few converters.
