Of course she was concentrating more on flipping me off than she was on driving (she had to open the sunroof of her Lexus) and proceeded to rear-end the Dodge Ram that had changed lanes into the spot I had previously occupied. I called the cops and waited around until they showed up and told them what happened (minus the part about me flipping her off), ticket for her, accident was her fault, and her insurance rates will likely go even higher than they already were.

IMH0, the only thing that could stand improvement is refraining from the exchange of "Middle finger salutes".
Smile and wave instead. Never say anything - just smile and wave. Extending the finger in return might cause an accident (as maybe it did for her, although it was well deserved because she was preoccupied with doing that and received the consequences of it) or, (worst case scenario) if you do that, someday someone might even shoot at you. Smiling and waving plays with peoples' minds and it nearly always has a calming effect. Or at least it will throw them a curve (psychologically), and they will conclude that you are of a different mindset, and their attempted insult has no effect on you.
