My girlfriend is starting to get in on it some. She drives 75-100 miles some days for her job, and they pay her $0.51/mile, so she's come to rely on that for extra spending cash. I think she's figured out that if she drives slower/more effeciently she can buy more junk.

We've actually started to get fairly competative when we road trip places, each trying to beat the other's mpg. It's fun, and it saves us money.
