Very clean! Don't be afraid to go full skirt, they will definately help. One thing you can use to make a full skirt more stable is to get aluminum bar from Home Depot and bolt it across the wheel well.

Once you have a finalized shape for your skirt, fiberglassing is easy. The most basic way to fiberglass it is to simply apply 3-4 layers on top of your skirt, let it harden, then sand/finish/paint. there is no need to make a complicated "mold" piece, you only need a "mold" if you plan on making multiple copies.
