o2 sensor update

I am also interested in a cheaper alternative to the $200 sensor. I don't have a check engine light or a code but I suspect that my o2 sensor is lazy. I keep getting 29 - 35 mpg depending on city/hwy mixture. I wish there was a place I could buy this sensor for less.
Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this...
Thanks
