Definately close enough. You'd have to really know your Nash's to spot the difference between an Ambassador and a Statesman (the latter has a shorter front end).
This particular car is a 1950 Nash Statesman coupe. A little custom work, but not much... these bathtubs are pretty clean completely stock.
They reportedly got 30mpg as well. Not shabby for a full size car from 1950.
