I want to remove the air conditioning from my motor- 1998 TDI 1.9 AGR

I have read all you need to do is change the belt

and I have read you have to change some pulley and a belt

.
I am really hoping all I need to do is change the belt,does anyone know or has anyone done this to their tdi ?
