As they say in the field, armor makes you stupid. The tank, once the hole is patched, can be fielded again with another crew. The soup sandwich of its previous crew needs to be pressure washed out of the hull before the new crew sallies forth, but the tank's own robustness is not to be questioned. Ever! That would undermine the confidence of its next crew. Just like y'all's F-150.
Back in 04 I was down in Kuwait one day and saw an Abrams on two flatbeds. In descending order, count! Two flatbeds! One tank! Zero crewmen! There's your mom's pickup, Steven Wrigley. Stop listening to your mother and buy yourself a car. Her ignorance is dangerous.
