I met a guy a year or so ago driving an old 80-something 1/2-ton pickup with a Chevy Bowtie on the front, a GMC stamped in the tailgate and a Cummins placard on the side. Turns out, he blew the original engine and had an old 4-cylinder Cummins diesel out of an old tractor he's put in there. I think he said he had over 100k miles on the diesel engine. The tailgate was just a replacement from a junkyard. Gotta love it.
