That Cummins B3.9 swap into a Ford or Chevy pickup is as easy as getting the mounts and brackets from Mill Supply. This was standard fare in the breadvans. Either had a C6, Turbo 400 or Clark trans behind it.
Too bad they're kinda spendy right now. You could actually get a 5.9 Cummins cheaper on the open market. But if you find an old Frito Lay truck or similiar for 1500.00 to 3000.00, just get the motor, trans and mounts out ( if it's a Ford chassis ), switch it over and turn the pump up a little ( they're usually set at 80 - 120 hp ). You'll have a truck that'll get in the 30-40 mpg range or so.
