Before GPS & ScanGauge.
The little push botton switch right above the A/C vent is for my driving lights.
Under the button is a trim piece that hides one of 2 screws that hold the entire center section in place.

I had the small shield formed uot of thick black acrylic to provide a small amount of glare reduction on the small Parrot screen (MKi9100 - bluetooth phone/Ipod/mps)

Here is the current setup. I remved the Garmin GPS from it's mount plate.


THe Garmin comes with sevral mounting platforms. I trimmed down the smallest one by cutting off the round base.
Then I drilled a hole in the back and used the place where the trim screw was to anchor the GPS.


To make sure that the Scan gauge sat at an angle to the dash, I hand made this bracket from a aftermarket cup holder I bought at walmart for $2.
