I've had a limited amount of time behind the wheel of a Highlander Hybrid, heading to a sailing adventure 2 summers back:

http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post115132

Data point: fully loaded, 5 adult males, packed to the roof with luggage inside, plus luggage tied ON the roof racks (groan)...

25 mpg (US) @ 100 km/h / 60 mph target speed in rolling hills.

In the city: "not hard to get around 7.5 L/100 km (31 mpg US) in city driving."

I really enjoy driving the Toyota hybrids - very entertaining/engaging.
