Rather than start a new thread, I dug up this relevant one...........I reversed 2 of my ecomods this weekend (on my Mustang). I reduced the air pressure in my tires from 40 PSI down to 35 PSI. And I removed my pizza pan wheel covers. The combination of 40 PSI in the tires and the pizza pans produced no significant (or even noticeable) improvement in fuel economy; The wheel covers made checking my tire pressure a 20 - minute chore every weekend; and, the main reason.... chicks didn't dig 'em.
