Cruisers are tanks...6000lbs+ easy. Weight is the last thing on my mind. The truck is going from a big iron straight 6 with an AL head to a big iron 4-cylinder with an iron head, turbo, injection pump, and associated plumbing. It's not on a diet, and never will be. I'll likely be adding armor, a lift, and bigger tires down the road too.

There is another fellow who just completed the exact same swap on his rig. With combined city and 70+MPH highway cruising he's returning FE numbers in the high 20's. If I get anywhere in the 20's, I'll be stoked.
