You'll need to install an idler pulley there to keep the belt tracking the way it should. You will also of course need to find a corrected length serp belt with the proper number of grooves in it. Why not leave the A/C compressor installed? You are always going to need a bearing there, so whether it's the one already on the compressor, or on the idler pulley it's still going to drag things down a bit.........Nevermind, I'm thinking ALH engine, you have a AGR-completely different!
Are you thinking of installing a Prius electric A/C compressor?
