when I was running the full underbelly panels 2 yrs ago, I got pulled over in a little town in Texas by the highway Patrol.
He got me for excess tint. I was running ststic tint over the normal tint. I showed him that i could and would just remove it.
But he still wanted to 'search the car". Seems they don't see many Infiniti Q45 w/ full body kits......and in 'profiling' they are taught that body kits allow for extra places to put the drugs!!!!!
First off, probably the nicest 'officer' of any kind that has ever puilled me over.
He has somewhat taken back by the 'ecomodder' yellow under panels, etc (I was running the window sticker at the time)
He would 'knock' on the panels to make sure they were really hollow.
3 local yocals showed up to 'box' me in.......
I started to worry about something bein 'planted'......

The highlight was when they where popping the door sill on the front driver side and 'HEY, I found something under the carpet!!!!
Asks me if I have anything to say........" yeah, a/c venting to the back seats"

looks at me like "yeah RIGHT!!"

Pull uot the mag light.............tee hee heee.........a/c ducting to the back seats.
He rolls his eyes, shakes his head and smiling says, "I 'll just do a warning on the tint"

the 3 local yocals were VERY dissapointed that the 'city boy and his high faluten car' was getting away scott free.
But the Highway Patrol guy was very cool and very apologetic.
Admitted to profiling me. (I was doing the speed limit thru town)

He really got into the ecomodding stuff after he realized it wasnt a front
to run drugs!!!
