Hey Josh, I was thinking I would remove my AC compressor as it does not work and my belt is getting old and needs to be replaced anyhow.
No AC is needed.
The only difference That I am aware of between the ALH motor and AGR motor is the former has a VNT turbo and the ladder has a ko3 waste gated turbo. there may well be other differences but I am unaware of them..

I have read about the idler pulley but believe that is for the earlier mk3 cars.
I will probably have to buy a new power steering pulley and shorter belt,More expense..
