Is there some reason you can't use auxillary conventional injectors?

You should be able to adequately get enough fuel in there with additional injectors in the manifold (or further upstream) using a separate fuel system (since I don't think they'd last long at 1700+ psi). It would only need to operate once you get to high boost levels, but there are aftermarket auxillary injector controllers available that can manage this.
