Well, for better or for worse I've joined Team Nissan. "Worse," actually; I'm afraid my first half-tank fill dragged the average down considerably. But I anticipate better: I managed about 45 MPG on the 5-mile return leg I just pulled from the Chinese restaurant, and that after almost 40 MPG outbound (read: car barely warmed up). Add my unfamiliarity with her sweet spots and tons of idling to run an inverter (still no power here and FEMA deemed my county "the hardest hit locality [by Hurricane Irene] in Virginia" and I see a bright future for this car's FE (relatively speaking).
Though maybe we should start a Team Versa so as not to drag the Sentra guys down? (Or to show 'em how it's done, he he!)
Anyway, thanks for your patience, and my numbers should be looking better soonest.
