...the GM 2.4L engine has Spark-Ignition Direct-Injection (SIDI) which should get quite good milage when 'hyper-mile' driven on the highway at light loadings.
...my '09 Vibe has the smaller 1.8L engine with SIDI (4-speed automatic) and I get excellent 40+MPG at 65 mph...but only with A/C off! Turning the A/C causes MPG to drop like mad.
