I think the muffler has the input and output on the same side and is mounted sideways b/c a normal "thru" muffler wouldn't fit in the rear of such a short car.
I'm still staring open-jawed at George's underside - most post-2000 cars have a bellypan of some sort. Get that covered before winter! You don't want salt in there, do you? I could just reach up and remove your oil filter.
BTW: Thinking about the name: Aygo Go! kept swimming in my head until Ali G surfaced. Oh well, George it is...
