Oh no! I just found a 1981 300SD 225k miles for just $1k, EPA shows they get mpg in the mid 20's. Just when I was about to decide on a 6.2L, and about the same price as 6.2 trucks around here. Trouble is it's a nice car, hate to pull it apart for a fixer upper.
