I wonder how many European cars are regularly driven on the roads with the equivalent of 400,000 kilometers on the odometer?

I watch salvage auctions every week and the average mileage of cars going through salvage auctions works out to 20k plus miles per year. With average vehicle ages here at 11 years. That's close to 230-250k miles average mileage on a lot of cars on US roads.
I have seen many cars with close to 500k miles and some with over 600. The highest I have seen was 864,000 on a Nissan Maxima Diesel.

I have recently upped my change intervals to 10k miles and even my bike has an 8k mile recommended oil change interval.
