Corded mowers are great! I've used electric mowers for 15 years now and never cut the cord once (although I'm _______ with karma saying that). I did replace the old double blade mower that came with the house for a direct drive mulching model but neither one ever required anything other than the odd sharpening. You plug it in, you squeeze the switch and it whirs to life. No tuneups, no running out of gas, no trying to finish before the battery depletes.
My smaller 40 x 110' lot costs 2½ cents to mow.
