There should be no difference in the shift throw; the transmissions are pretty much the same, just with different numbers of teeth on the gears. The movement of the sliders on the shafts are what determines the shift throw and to a great extent the feel of the shifting. So
IF the VX transmission is in the same condition as the DX one, it should shift the same.
