I think we are. Insurance is divided into three parts; To pay for damage you cause others; theft, towing etc and finally for damage to your car caused by yourself. The third part is covered in the three years warranty from the manufacturer. Now that I think about it sounds strange. I hope i haven't misunderstood it for all the thirty years I have had cars.
