Started adapting LOG for George - Basically I get the acceleration over with asap and then try and "hold" speed in as high a gear as possible whilst maintaining a minimum instant MPG - usually AVG or just below if I can't be higher. If I can't then I drop a gear or two (or three) and use WOT to get back up to speed.
This is where I need to cruise faster than normal (say over 60) and can't find a friendly truck to follow doing that speed
