I live in the snow belt. Last winte we got 20ft of snow in a short time. Blowing and piling up nicely. There was a 4x4 full size pickup truck stuck in the middle of the rOad. I had a land rover discovery with 235 85 16 (tall and skinny) mud tires and pulled him out. I ran full throttle for the last three miles crawling along and killed the engine getting home. I would get another I it wasn't for memories of 10 mpg trips
Same storm I had to get to a hospital. The ambulance picked me up and we got stuck a mile down the road. Lucky a snowplow came along. I love 4x4. I'm still looking for a rust free Suzuki sidekick, had one serve me well.
