a 4 wire 02 sensor can never be rewired or substituted to function as an Air fuel ratio sensor , and the reverse is also true

to do what you want to do
you will need to locate the ECM from the system you wish to convert your car to , the harness may or may not need to be replaced as well depending on weather or not the connections you need are present ...

look at the options in the diagram above

I am not asking how to make a 4 wire LAF into a 5 wire LAF, I am asking how to take my Cali model VX (which has a 4 wire LAF) and wire the car to be able to use a 5 wire LAF (Federal). I am trying to get around finding the plugs I need... I would rather just hardwire the car (don't need it to be removable).
