Seeing my expensive relationship with the local Volvo dealer was permanently broken up, I'm going to reinstall the upper grill block - blocking even more than before.
I'll reuse the proven quick & dirty method of tape.
If it looks like trash, no problem, that's what the car has become to me.
Somehow the tape doesn't really like to stick to the grille this year, so I'll double it up upon itself on the back.

Winter tyres are going back on.

Windshield washer fluid has already been changed.
A few connectors in the windshield washer fluid line quit on me even before winter really started, so these have been replaced as well.
