The first one.
Aerocap -reducing from 10 degrees, 15, then 20 at the top of the tailgate. If the tailgate is removed, I'm wondering what the flow dynamics would be.

I'm removing my tailgate soon, in lieu of a simple piece of 3/4 or 1" aluminum sheet. My Baja tailgate is obnoxiously heavy.
Triangular holes with radiused corners would keep structural integrity but reduce weight even more. I'm wondering if it would smooth some of the rear vortex.

Lately, I'm thinking of a "half" aerocap combined with a half tonneau at the rear. Split about the middle of the bed. The bed is only about 5 ft long. A flat, hinged rear tonneau would make bed access a lot easier.
