You cannot do this on the Prius; at least the one that has the touch screen controls -- if the A/C fuse is pulled, the *entire* HVAC system is disabled. Grrrr, stupid engineering choices.

As I said before, they should program it to run the A/C only at maximum/full defrost and then only for a minute or two, and then go to heat only. And have a manual override.
Based on my fuse box, I think mine's set up the same way. There are some fuses for "HVAC" but nothing for jus the AC.
