Did you calibrate it against a GPS to get the distance ?
If it's carefully calibrated against the car's odometer it means the Ultragauge will also be off with bigger tires .

There's no point in going so far that the tires don't physically fit anymore
I'd stick with rather narrow tires - maybe 165 instead of 155 but not much wider.
