You are correct.
The size (165/65 R14) of RE92 made for the first gen. Insight is definitely LRR, and is unlike the other RE92 sizes available.
If you
view the listing at Tire Rack for the Insight sized RE92, it identifies that size as Low Rolling Resistance.
But if you
view the 185/60 R15 size of that tire (I picked that one at random), it does not list it as LRR.
